Description:
This series of panels is the story of Medusa and her sisters. The male figure works to look away knowing he will turn to stone wading into the cave that these beautiful monsters call home, as medusa’s sister’s look on entertained, with their masks lifted showing their delight of his expected fate. Medusa is depicted as her true self, without the snakes and masks of a monster but the face of pain within that harms all that come across her, something uglier, deep, and more real than what is traditional depicted
