This watercolour and ink work is inspired by the Virgin and Child paintings of the past. Where my wife and child model for this image. She holds the child up to heaven to admire and looks away eyes closed in respect. The lamb of god at their feet waits to greet the child.

The artwork explores the beauty, and respect of the gift of life and the future.
