Self Portrait, my masks
Dimensions : 18" x 24"
The Japanese say we have three faces/masks.
The face we show the world.
The face we show those close to us.
And the last one we never show, which is the truest reflection of ourselves, for me that is the skull what is deep inside.
In this self portrait the artist reveals all of himself. Allowing the viewer to look deep within his eyes. The artist had these masks tattooed on his arm and shoulder as a constant reminder to not be confused about what is the meaning of SELF.
